Imlie plot and Storyline – Written update

Drama’s leading actress, Imlie is a young ambitious girl from UP and the daughter of Meethi and Dev Chaturvedi. Her mother spends a night with Dev and the people of their village force them to marry. Satyakam is a social worker who knows her and her identity crisis and colleague of Aditya or Adi. Adi is a news reporter and comes to meet Satyakam who guides him to the village. But accidentally, they stuck together on a stormy night. The next day, people ask them to either marry each other or they will kill Adi. 

They decide to marry to save Adi’s life, and he brings her back to his house. Adi is already engaged with Malini, Dev’s daughter, and is soon about to get married. Imlie is living in his house as a maid and Adi reveals his secret marriage to Malini on the wedding day. Malini breaks up with him. Adi decides to leave her in her village and he is also going there to visit Satykam where he knows that Malini and Imlie are half-sisters. Soon, Aditya realizes his feelings for his wife. Malini also visits the village with the identity of Kalpana to find the truth.
