In Imlie season 1, female leading character is a young girl who is facing an identity crisis for her father since birth. While Aditya is a news reporter. He visits her village to meet her step-father where they are both stuck in a stormy night and then they are asked to get married forcefully. Adi is already engaged with Malini, half-sister of Imlie. Adi tells Malini about his marriage and their relationship gets faints. Adi and Malini both get the secret that Imlie and Malini are sisters, so Malini decides to separate her path from Adi, and let them live together. But later on, she starts to create misunderstandings and break their relationship.

While in Season 2, is about a love triangle between Adi’s two daughters Imlie and Cheeni with a musician Atharva Rana. In Imlie Season 3, Atharvas’s daughter meets with a businessman Agasthya and Vishwas makes trouble in their love life.
