Doree Story and Plot – Written Update

This drama is about a serious and attention-seeking social issue of girl child abandonment based on a fictional story. This is the story of six-year-old girl Doree, a doting daughter, who lives with her stepfather Ganga Prasad in Banaras’s Bunkar mohalla. One day, a woman drops an infant in front of Ganga’s house. He tries to stop her, but the woman runs away. Later on, he brings that infant with him and takes care of her. Ganga lives alone in a house, and no one is ready to fix his marriage with their daughter, as his father was on missions.

Meanwhile, the mother of Doree, Mansi brings her newborn daughter and tries to go far from her family. But her husband asks her to give him the baby. She refuses to do so. Her husband asks you know very well that Kailashi demands only sons in the family. We can’t manage the daughter, so give her to me and come back home. He forcefully gets the baby and asks a servant to leave her in the river. Mansi tries to save her daughter but fails to do so.

The servant put the baby in a basket and left it in the river. On the other side, Ganga sees this accesses the basket, and carries the baby from the basket. He holds her finger and promises to find her family. For this, he puts the baby in a temple and waits for someone who recognizes the baby, but no one comes. Ultimately, he has to bring the baby into his house start to take care of her, and treat them like a daughter.
